Queensland College of Art (???), Brisbane, Australia

| So, funny story behind this one… and by funny, I mean tragically sad that this is the only shot I got in Australia (someone will go again, no worries mate). Sometimes a picture is worth a million words… and sometimes it just says, “I completely forgot I had this thing”.
My wife and I didn’t have just a whole lot of time in Australia, so we chose to focus our time in the Brisbane area. We stopped by the beach for a day, hung out with a cheetah (yes, on the wrong side of the fence) at Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo, held a koala at the Koala Sanctuary as well as pet kangaroos and other fury creatures… all excellent opportunities for priceless photos of the Albino Bowler… but alas, I had completely forgotten about him. |
Holly (that’s my wife) and I were rounding out a relaxing day touring around the city when it hit me. As we walked through the Queensland College of Art campus on our way to catch the train, I thought to myself, “self, this sure is a pretty campus… I should take some pictures”. Hmmm… pictures. Oh snap! The Albino Bowler!
| Obscure? Yes. The best Albino Bowler picture ever? Probably not. Australia? You bet. Mission accomplished.
